What is a survey?

A survey documents the condition of a vessel and its safety equipment.  The scope includes inspecting the exterior hull, deck,  interior construction, interior accommodations, safety and mechanical equipment.

Why Survey a Boat?

A survey helps you be an informed buyer.  It identifies potential needed repair or maintenance, and documents the condition and value of what you are purchasing.  Lenders and insurance companies often require surveys, they want to know the fair market value and condition of the boat, as should you.

What is Consulting?

Consulting is research above and beyond a survey report,   such as the detail and extent of previous repair.

Consulting is also helpful when a major restoration, repair, or new build is underway.  Verification of proper equipment installation and adherence to timelines can be vital.
